Charming!

Been home 24 hours and he's already starting on me. I walked in with a cup of tea for him and he said 'what do you want?' I sarcastically asked if I may bring him his tea. He said 'okay then, if you've made it already'. Charming.

I am going to ask his carer to continue making a flask of tea for him first thing in the morning as she did while I was away. Then I won't have to disturb his day by taking him tea. In fact, he can continue making his own meals too. We will see how long that lasts.

I waited a while and then went back into his lounge. I told him everyone who helped him the past two weeks has said how kind, sweet and courteous he was with them. He said 'oh, that is nice'. I said, 'yes it is and I would expect to be treated the same way as them. I do not expect you to be rude to me. I turned and flounced out. :-)

Picture this....

Tis a dark, miserable, wet night. The moon in the sky is smothered by dark grey rain clouds. The empty road meanders between the seashore...

Back home...

Had a lovely holiday. Rested. Relaxed. New experiences. Old bugbears released (hopefully). And now I am home in my familiar surroundings...
